About Our Brooklyn Plumbers

Brooklyn does not have standard plumbing. A brownstone on one block runs on steam heat and cast iron from 1905. The building next door was gutted in the nineties and is half copper, half whatever the last contractor had on the truck. Our plumbers work on both in the same afternoon.

That is the job we are set up for. The trucks carry parts for steam boilers, flushometers and galvanized pipe - the things a big-box aisle stopped stocking years ago - because a second trip for a fitting is time a customer pays for.

We leave from Sunset Park. Third Avenue and the Gowanus Expressway put most of Brooklyn within a short drive, traffic allowing, and in Brooklyn traffic is rarely allowing.

How Our Plumbers Work

A Written Quote Before Any Work

We look at the job, then put the price on paper. The quote lists parts, labor and any filing. Nothing starts until you say yes, and the number does not change unless the job does - if we open a wall and find something new, you hear about it before we touch it.

Licensed Plumbing Work, Filed and Tested

Gas piping, boilers and sewer connections are permitted work in NYC. Those jobs go through a licensed master plumber, get filed, and get tested under pressure before we call them done. Anyone can look up a plumbing license on the DOB license search, and we would rather you check than take our word for it.

Straight Answers About Repair or Replace

Some tanks and boilers deserve another repair. Some do not. We say which, and why, and the decision stays with you. The same goes for safety. A gas smell is a call to 911 and National Grid at 718-643-4050 before it is a call to any plumber, us included.

Urgent calls go to the emergency plumber line. Drains and sewers: drain cleaning and sewer line repair. Hot water: water heater repair and water heater installation.
